In Loving Memory of Yvan Robineau It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Yvan Robineau on Saturday, July 26th, 2025 at the West Nipissing Hospital in Sturgeon Falls. Yvan is survived by his beloved wife of 12 years, Nicole Guindon, whose love, support and companionship were a constant source of joy in his life. He was a cherished stepfather to Jo-Anne Guindon and Jason Guindon. Yvan was predeceased by his first wife, Denise (Martel). Together they raised their children: Michel (deceased), Gilles, Joanne (deceased), and Daniel. Yvan loved and took great pride in his numerous cousins, nieces, nephews as well as many grandchildren, step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Yvan was the son of the late Léodé and Gertrude (née Vermette) Robineau, and the beloved brother of Marcel (deceased), Gérald (deceased), Diane Misch, Suzanne Delorme (Fern), Linda MacGregor (Denis), and Gisele Gaudet (Serge). A heartful thank you to the staff at the West Nipissing General Hospital for their kind and compassionate care. The family will receive friends at L’église Sacré Coeur on August 25th at 10am with a funeral mass to take place at 11am. A luncheon will follow at the Club Calumet. The private burial of ashes will take place at a later date. Cremation arrangements in care of the Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home and Crystal Crematorium, Sturgeon Falls. Donations to West Nipissing General Hospital – Palliative care/Hospice or the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Yvan’s memory would be appreciated.

Commanda, Chad (1991-2025) The family announces with sorrow his death in North Bay, Wednesday July 23, 2025 at the age of 33 years. Beloved son of William Commanda and Sandra Leveillee. Loving and proud father of his beautiful daughter, Addison. Dear brother of Kaitlin (Samuel), and Brent. Chad was eagerly anticipating becoming a first-time uncle and was excited for this new role. He was the cherished grandson of Wilmay and Thelma Leveillee, and June and Ted Commanda. Chad shared many years and created lasting memories with Randi Dokis. He will be lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to their extended family in Dokis Bay, as well as Right Path in Nipissing First Nation. Daughter of the late Everdina (nee Van Lueewen) and Johannes Van Veenendaal. Beloved wife of Leendert "Leo Sr." Loving mother of Rosalinda Bos, Viola Bos (John), and Leendert "Leo Jr." (Tammy-Lynn). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren James, Michelle (Curtis), Leendert Lee (Miriam), Crystalynn and Theodore. Fondly cherished by her great-grandchildren and many neices and nephews. Dear sister of Hans Van Vehmendahl (Debbie).
